Appointment of Martin Sénéchal as Vice-President, Business Development
Since joining Enero last July, Martin Sénéchal has served as Vice-President, Business Development. After a period of observation and listening, he shares his insights and the priorities that will guide our growth.
Montréal, October 30, 2026 – Enero Solutions is very pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Sénéchal as Vice-President, Business Development. With nearly 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry (Resolute/Domtar, AstenJohnson and Buckman), Martin brings the expertise and vision to help Enero Solutions reach new heights. His experience in business development and as Vice-President, Procurement will help raise our organization’s standards throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
We were fortunate to welcome Martin to the team on July 6. He took the time he needed to understand the organization before proposing strategic directions. This onboarding period allowed him to get to know our teams and meet with many clients and partners.
At the end of this observation period, what struck Martin most was how closely our work aligns with our key message- Total commitment. Optimal results:
Everywhere I looked, technical rigour and close relationships with our partners translate into concrete, measurable gains.
He also identified opportunities to seize, such as the importance of supporting our clients as they implement our solutions:
The success of our projects depends on commissioning the technologies and helping users adapt to their new reality. A NASCAR driver behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car has to change their driving habits, even if the F1 car is light-years ahead of the NASCAR technologically.
Finally, he sees an opportunity to support our partners:
By bringing to market high-performance tools for control loop tuning, cybersecure data acquisition and dashboards, which are currently used mainly by our project teams.
Priorities for the months ahead
Building on these observations, Martin will focus on three priorities in the coming months:
- Increasing our presence in the field to ensure our client promise is aligned with market expectations;
- Continuing to roll out a coordinated market penetration approach in our priority geographic regions;
- Fostering the implementation of growth drivers for our target clients.
With these clear directions and the commitment of our teams, we are well positioned to take our growth to the next level. Best of luck, Martin!
